Right after typing the last post, I went to my room and had a cig. I looked under the quarter of my bed I hadn't searched and there was my stylophone (Speaker grill is silver being the difference!)

What a great, disgusting irritating buzzy drone! Gauranteed to enthrall kids and piss off adults. Add effects, and it's a buzzing monster.

By the way, I like Danelectros, Ibanez ToneLoks (a bit more expensive than Danos, but not much) and to a lesser degree Behringer and Johnson.

Since you be getting paid now, and not knowing where you are at, I hope you have access to, and time to, crawl the pawn shops. ALWAYS, repeat, ALWAYS offer less then they are asking. That's how I have gotten some decent pedals, and not paid much for them. My DOD Envelope Filter and my Johnson EQ Distortion (one bought at a pawn in Nevada, one in Oregon) were both listed at twenty five, and I got them down to fifteen bucks. Fifteen bucks today, what's that? A box of Popcorn and a soda at a night out at the the movies? Maybe even less!!

unfortunately pawn shops/ flea market around here hardly ever have anything interesting music-wise. I think i saw a nice casio once, but that's about it.

i live near some decent pawn shops but they NEVER have pedals. at first i thought maybe they had them behind the counter or something to deter theft but i asked at one and they said that they did not have any...

One of the pawn shops I used to frequent locally told me they sell their pedals on Ebay, I no longer go to their store.

Then again, that store was so stupid, I hocked a pedal there once for more then I paid for it brand new at Guitar Center!

And it's a scouring job, right now at the pawn shop I frequent most often, they have two Fab pedals (those newer cheapo, not bad Danelectros). They want 30 each!! I wouldn't pay thirty total, with shipping. You just have to look and look, and that makes the occasional score so much sweeter.

I usually get good deals in Nevada Pawns. They almost always have something, and I'm guessing thats true of any pawn shop in a casino town.
