Discuss Prurient.

Prurient was one of the first noise artists I heard. I think I remember hearing a bit back that a lot of people hate him for some reason. Uhhh... I don't know why though.

I think he's one of the best current noise artists. I really like how, with his newer stuff that I've heard, he blends his chaotic harshness with just enough of a melody to create a really dark, cold atmosphere. I guess a lot of the purist, ultra-elitist types hate him because he's pretty well known, and being heard of is a big no-no among those people (damn reverse hipsters). And because he's in Cold Cave, who are also great at what they do.

Ah, people can be quite interesting.

Despite the apparent controversy of him being a "trendy" noisehead, I did quit enjoy his synth-based release (somehting to do with birds or soemthing, can't rmemeber right now). As for his harsh stuff, sometimes it just getss way too sadistic for me.

Oh yeah, and I just DL'd some Ash Pool & Vegas Martyes. Can't fucking wait!
