Oh yeah, and I made some noise recently
(copied from the black & green/once-blue board)
Greetings, ladies and gents.
Our first feature has been called my "best overall effort" by red soundwave: Soft Rock
A weird hour-long analog collage of noise, tape loops, hip-hop, toilet grind, field recordings, spoken word, dadist percussion, down-on-the-farm-core and other nonsense with echoes of japanoise and Hal McGee-style cut-ups.
Originally, this was a tape release limited to four distinct hand-made copies, left around various parts of the Minnesota area, each with its own little faults though all with the same amount of material and artwork.
This release also marks a subtle shift in artist name, using the longer My Lovely Figment pseudonym in order to purge some of the stigma of the awkward, abbreviated MLF.

And for our second feature, an untitled one-off/cut-up tape we'll just call "alchemy"
In contrast to Soft Rock, "alchemy" is an earlier MLF (or is it My Lovely Figment?) work, back when lack of trade materials was [more of] a problem.
While nowhere near the level of quality as Soft Rock, it still holds a great deal of significance to me for various reasons... also, as you may/may not read in the included text file, this was probably the best of those early one-off tapes.
Moreover, I enjoy the juxtaposition between relatively old and new works here, and hope you all can enjoy the differences and similarities aswell.

Thank you.
Oh yeah, and "alchemy" was originally intended for the Figment's Fragments blog but I think I'll decie against it, because enough of my shit is up there already.
