So I got a job
That explains why I haven't posted here for the last few day, I've been working
But anyways
Now that I got a job (at Coldstone Creamery)
I'm gonna need to hear about some badass noise equipment that I should get
If it helps, right now all I've got is a 4-input mixer, record player, geetar, 2 shakerboxes, death metal distortion, a boss distortion, 2 reverb boxes, and a delay pedal
So yeah, pedals, crazy sound-making things, and cheap mixers with lots of inputs would be the best things to post. Oh yeah, and I'm also looking for a good synthesizer. One that's good for drones/power electronics/dark ambience

Octave pedal(s)!
Octave + distortion = fun.
You can never have too many distortions, assuming you don't try to use every single one of them at the same time...
PEDAL QUEEN 4 LYFE. ACCEPT IT.

Re: So I got a job
sweet you found a job. congratulations!!!
anyway. i don't think i could really enthusiastically recommend anything right now, as i am not really feeling enthusiastic about anything right now pedal-wise really. looks like you could use some modulation though. only thing i could probably recommend on that score is the EHX Flanger Hoax. i hear that one is crazy & i still want one.
Synth-wise i guess the conventional wisdom would be to get an Alesis Micron becuz it is "analog" sounding & analog and modular synths are the trend for those genres although personally i would rather have a Microkorg or a Dave Smith Evolver. my main advice is to try to get something as cheap as possible and process the hell out of it, and then, you know, upgrade or something.
advice in general. work hard. show up EARLY to EVERYSINGLEDAY and totally kiss your bosses ass. & SAVE MONEY don't buy a lot of worthless bullshit.

lol, thanks for the advice, cunning
from what I've gathered, the dan electro pedals are cheap and good. Am I correct?

Re: So I got a job
IMO. yes. best bang for your buck. some are literally knock-offs more expensive boutique & clone pedals; obviously, they are not gonna blow your mind like the Grunge or the Death Metal and they are not maybe as versatile as other more expensive pedals, but for noise people on a budget it is seems like a no-brainer.
