there's a show tonight. Starting around 7:30 or 8. at the house on the very end of commercial avenue. One end of it is for houses and the other is for warehouses and shit. It's on the end with the houses. I don't know the address.

lol, yeah sorry they're very secretive about shows there. I tried getting on the bill but they said it was already full. But the guy said he'd call me next time they're putting together a show.

Release select information to a select few people only hours before the event, in an attempt to spread the word as quickly as possible...

Fuck, I'll admit I'm pretty anal about obscuring my identity, but at least I can set a fucking deadline, moreover organize something well enough that it doesn't turn into a ratrace towards one big clusterfuck.

I think everyone was very confused by last-minute changes. Apparently the venue it was originally supposed to happen at (the nottingham co-op) no longer hosts such events. So it was a last minute scramble for everyone involved.

I may play a show at the same place some time in november. I think the guy who lives there (Nick) is pretty set on picking and choosing line-ups himself, so I'll probably need to find a different place for that benefit show.

I'm hoping by November I'll be able to drive and maybe even have a job, so that could work out pretty well depending on what happens.
